Privacy and Technical Details
The default page calculates positions (for a single location) on the server, which allows for a lightweight, cacheable page that does not require Javascript. This page performs calculations in the browser, which requires sending a Javascript bundle.
When you set the latitude and longitude, they are stored in the URL's query parameters. This information is recorded in the web application's logs and will only be used for the purpose of debugging issues and for getting a sense of the page's popularity — the information will never be shared, sold, or otherwise accessed in a way that would impinge upon your privacy.
